Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Zagreb was established on 14 January 2005. It is a non-governmental organization registered by the Zagreb City Council. The Club is a member of the Croatian Kennel Club. The Club was established to bring together breeders, owners and fanciers of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed, in order to look after the breed, and to improve and promote quality breeding. Basic goal of the Club is advancement of cynology, especially in the areas of breeding, training and preservation of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. Activities of the Club are: - consistent application of Croatian Kennel Club’s policies, decisions, positions, and conclusions aimed to advance cynology;
- advancement, study, and development of cynology;
- bringing together breeders, owners and fanciers of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed;
- breeding advancement and promotion of Rhodesian Ridgeback breed;
- consulting and education;
- organizing reviews, revues, exhibitions, as well as conducting trials and competitions;
- assistance in dog breeding and training;
- popularization and publication of books, magazines and other publications in the field of cynology;
- publicizing cynology through lectures and seminars;
- accomplishing other tasks in pursuit of advancement of cynology;
- group visits to cynological events;
- organizing lectures and seminars for cynological personnel of all profiles.
